Over many years Tourism Victoria has collected and established an extensive image library. The images available are a mix of tourism, lifestyle and landscape images that can be used to promote Melbourne and Victoria.

Tourism Victoria, through research, has recognised the need to provide clients with immediate access to imagery. With the assistance of Media Equation, Tourism Victoria has developed "Visions of Victoria" which is an Online Image Library.

Visions of Victoria will provide clients with the ability to search, order and download images directly from the Website.

Visions of Victoria hold Tourism Victoria's entire image collection, this collection consists of approximately 4,000 Unlimited Images (Copyright-Free) that can be used for any purposes world wide and 5,000 Restricted Images that can only be used for a specific use.

Visions of Victoria also hold Tourism Victoria's Video Library this consists of current commercials, promotional videos, wild reels and short compilation clips.

Visions of Victoria will allow clients to access many forms of images including photographs, video footage and digital files.

Clients will have immediate access to high resolution photographs (approx. 15meg JPG) by downloading directly from the Website.

Alternatively clients can also order high resolution photographs on CD (approx 60meg TIF), video, posters and prints.

A number of promotional videos have been produced by Tourism Victoria ranging from 5 minutes to 14 minutes long. These videos were produced to showcase Melbourne and Victoria as a holiday destination. The videos are purely motivational.

Selected promotional videos have been produced for specific international markets. The difference between these videos is they highlight the specific footage, and are subtitled in the specific market language.

These promotional videos are available for presentations only, they can not be used for the Internet or broadcast. The general public are welcome to purchase these videos and provide them as presents for relatives, but once again the video can not be used for broadcast or the Internet.

Tourism Victoria has collected a vast range of copyright-free and talent-free footage that clients can use to incorporate into any production they are producing these Wild Reels which include Melbourne Wild Footage, Regional Wild Footage and Victoria Shorts. Usage Fees apply to all Wildreels, discounts maybe available for specific clients.

Visions of Victoria offer a cheaper solution to purchasing a complete Wild Reel of Footage, the solution is called Compilation Clips.

Visions of Victoria have placed online clips of footage ranging from 1 second long to 4 minutes, these clips can be selected and placed on one video. Compilation video have one flat fee of $310 plus a $30 usage fee per clip selected. Discounts may apply for specific clients.

All compilation clips are available for viewing on Visions of Victoria.

Photographs, videos and digital files are available to purchase for a fee. These fees will be used to maintain the Library and allow Tourism Victoria to purchase new images on a regular basis.

Clients wishing to receive discounts can click on "Register" located on the Home Page. The client will need to complete out a registration form. Tourism Victoria will determine the eligibility for a discount based on the information provided.

Clients who are in the Media and Tourism Industry will receive discounts. Other clients will be processed on an individual basis.

For clients who are unsure of what industry category they belong to please refer to "User Type Definitions" from the sub-menu on the left. Here you will find a list of user types that outlines which industries belong to each user type category.

10% GST is payable to purchases made within Australia.

A selection of the "best" copyright free images can be found on the Homepage for easy access. These images are grouped into "collections" and represent various themes. You do not need a username and password to view the collections.

Useful Information provides clients with additional information such as other image libraries, list of photographers, definitions of user types and access restrictions that may apply to various images.

Visions of Victoria has also provided a number of online forms for both clients and photographers to complete. These forms will provide Visions of Victoria with feedback, additional information from photographers and corrections for images that may be incorrectly captioned or titled.

Visions of Victoria will provide Clients with immediate downloads from the Website. (On condition that there payment has been confirmed and approved).

Clients should allow up to 5 working days for Visions of Victoria to process and fulfil the order.

Within Australia all ordered images will be despatched using Australia Post. Clients within Australia should allow up to 3 working days for standard postage delivery. Clients Outside Australia should allow up to 15 working days for delivery.
